Hey DF, thanks for the cookie recipe. Maybe the kids and I will make these today-
Snow Day-NO SCHOOL. They'll like everything except the nuts.

Irresistible Cookies

Cream together:

1 cup butter (I use 1/2 shortening)
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar

Beat in:
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Sift together and add:
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Add any or all of the following: (I add everything except granola)
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup old fashion oats
1 cup granola
1 cup cransins (dried cranberries)
1 cup white chocolate chips

Bake at 350 for approximately 10 minutes.
