A 'Pheasant' Surprise

The kids didn't have school a couple days ago because there was a sheet of ice over everything, and I mean everything. The roads, trees, fences, weeds, grass, snow, cars... even Sophie, our horse. She rolled, knocking most of it off, before I got out there with the camera, of course. Bunny wanted to go out and run around in the ice but I wouldn't let her until the pheasants were gone. Tilly couldn't even go out. It was so fascinating, watching these two pheasants slide on the ice, picking at.. seeds? I guess.. right outside our backdoor.
