First Communion, Maundy Thursday. Thanks to my friend Kim for the smocking on the dress. She smocked, I sewed and we finished in record time... for me that is. Bunny was cute as a button and of course her favorite feature was the shoes. Silver, sparkly Ken Cole's. Just this morning she said, "Mom, I need new shoes because I can't always find ones I like to wear that day." "What?" I said, "you're wearing jeans and a t-shirt, just like yesterday, tennis shoes work." "Mom, I wore tennis shoes yesterday." Hmm, shoes for each day of the week, why didn't I think of that :-) ?
